About the Opportunity
Join Arup’s London-based Host Cities team to help cities around the world plan and host major events—such as the Olympics and FIFA World Cup—while delivering long-term benefits for their citizens. You’ll contribute to high-profile projects from day one, working with leading city planners, governments, and developers. As the sector undergoes digital transformation, you’ll also help shape new tools and approaches. Expect hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow within Arup’s Integrated City Planning group.

What We’re Looking For
- Degree (2:1 or above) in architecture, urban design, geography, business, planning or related fields
- Strong research, analysis, and data skills (e.g. Excel, mapping, digital tools)
- Confident communicator with excellent visual presentation abilities
- Interest in cities, major events, and sustainable urban development
- Portfolio (PDF, max 20MB) required
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Available to start in September 2025
