About the Team
We are looking to recruit an outstanding practitioner to join Warwickshire’s Integrated Disability Service 0-5 Team. This Service supports Early Years providers in their strategic response to meeting the needs of learners with Special Educational Needs and/ or disabilities.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced and skilled practitioners to work in a Service which has considerable experience of providing specialist support to Early Years settings.
This post requires the ability to be skilled, organised and flexible in a high-pressured environment. We welcome candidates with a strong customer care ethos in supporting schools and settings to meet the needs of vulnerable pupils.
Key Requirements
Holding a recognised qualification, relevant to the post, to NVQ Level 3 equivalent and with recent successful experience working as an Early Years Practitioner (or similar role) with children who have barriers to learning.
You will also have
- significant and successful post qualification Early Years experience with up to date knowledge and understanding of Early Years and SEND effective practice and issues;
- the ability to influence and support staff and leaders in settings, promoting excellent, evidenced based practice to meet an increasingly diverse range of need and to influence practice at an earlier stage;
- the experience and expertise to empower service users;
- the ability to work under pressure, meeting unpredictable deadlines and managing competing demands effectively;
- the ability to be part of the ‘team around the child’, working flexibly, to develop and share creative approaches, positively influencing the practice of others through training and coaching.
