Interim Technical Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Here at Warwick District Council, we are going through some exciting changes and we want someone to play a key role in improving services. We are looking for someone to develop and deliver our regulatory and planned works programmes for Housing and support transition with the property management of the Councils’ Corporate property portfolio.
The Council are committed to maintaining its Housing properties to meet the Regulator of Social Housings’ Quality and Safety Standard. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver regulatory workstreams and services for Decent Homes, HHSRS, Damp and Mould, and Disrepair. You will also develop and deliver planned programmes of component replacements and projects to support the decarbonisation agenda. While subject to review, the role also includes a range of critical responsive repairs, planned programmes and capital projects for the Councils corporate portfolio.
We are looking for a customer focused manager to work with resident and client groups, deliver the services they have told us they want through engagement with them, and deliver homes and properties fit for the future. And a highly motivated and organised individual that can work effectively with the Repairs, Compliance and Housing teams to meet the Quality and Safety Standards and Corporate Building Clients to keep public and commercial leased buildings operating effectively.
Successful applicants must have a thorough understanding of current and pending legislation, regulatory and technical standards, procurement, project and contract management. to ensure that our duties as a landlord and service provider are met and carried out to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
