About the Opportunity

Join AECOM’s Impact Assessment Practice Area (IAPA) as a Graduate Environmental Consultant starting August 2025. You'll gain hands-on experience coordinating environmental inputs on nationally significant infrastructure projects, such as sustainable energy and water systems. You’ll receive one-to-one mentoring, structured training through the ADVANCE graduate development programme, access to AECOM University, and support toward Chartership (e.g. IEMA, IES). Flexible working options and involvement in meaningful projects ensure a strong start to your environmental career.

What We’re Looking For

A relevant first or postgraduate degree (e.g. Environmental Science, Planning, Geography, Sustainable Development)
Interest in digital tools and sustainability challenges
Strong research, report writing, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel for site work (driving licence/access to transport desirable)
Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail
Enthusiastic self-starter with commercial awareness
