About the Opportunity

As a Graduate Bridge Structures Engineer, you’ll work on diverse projects from concept design to completion, gaining experience in structural design, bridge assessment, finite element analysis, inspections, and feasibility studies. You’ll be part of an award-winning team with opportunities to collaborate internationally, contribute to iconic projects, and develop expertise across the full project lifecycle. Through AECOM’s Graduate Development Programme, you’ll receive technical training, mentorship, and full support towards chartership, with access to live client projects, multidisciplinary exposure, and structured career progression.

What We’re Looking For

BEng (2:1 or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng/MSc preferred)
Strong technical understanding of civil/structural engineering
Interest in bridge structures and pursuing a career in the field
Commitment to working towards ICE or IStructE chartership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills
Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team
Enthusiastic, driven, and able to prioritise effectively
