About the Opportunity
As an Assistant Environmental (EIA) Consultant, you’ll support the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments across major projects, including renewables and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with technical experts, contribute to environmental statements, support site access coordination and stakeholder strategies, and gain experience in cutting-edge digital EIA methods. This is a development-focused role designed to support your technical growth, with mentoring and chartership pathways available.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in environmental science, planning or related field (postgraduate preferred)
- Relevant postgraduate experience in EIA/SEA or similar
- Understanding of UK environmental and planning legislation
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Willingness to travel across the UK as needed
- Experience or interest in environmental field surveys
- Membership of IEMA or similar professional body (desirable)
