About the Opportunity
As an Army Nurse, you’ll provide both general and specialist care to soldiers and civilians, with the chance to work in NHS settings, overseas operations, and training environments. Whether you join as a student nurse, qualified nurse, Soldier, or Officer, the Army offers full support and funding for your clinical and professional development — including study up to MSc level. You’ll also access opportunities in leadership, instruction, sport, and adventure training.
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 35 years & 11 months
For Student Nurse (Soldier):
- 3 GCSEs (Grade 9-4/A-C) including Maths, English, and a science or Health & Social Care
- 120 UCAS points
For Student Nurse (Officer):
- University place secured or in training for Adult Health Nursing
- Eligible for bursary up to £42,000
For Registered Nurses (Soldier or Officer):
- NMC registration (or final-year students)
- Eligible for a £30,000 bonus with specialist qualifications
- All candidates must pass a fitness test and attend an Army Nursing Insight Event
