About the Opportunity

As a Capability Development Officer, you’ll work at the forefront of tackling online harms by developing and testing innovative analytic tools and techniques. You will support product management, conduct research, and contribute to cutting-edge projects that enhance national security and public safety. This role offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities to upskill, grow your expertise in data analysis, project delivery, and emerging technologies, while directly influencing digital safety initiatives. What We're Looking For

Experience upskilling in technical tools (e.g., Excel, Jira, Python, PowerBI) for research or operational use
Practical project delivery experience, managing milestones and overcoming challenges
Strong problem-solving with evidence-based recommendations
Ability to deliver high-quality work at pace and communicate complex outcomes clearly
Working knowledge of GDPR
Desirable: Interest or knowledge in disinformation or open-source research, plus familiarity with project management/business analysis methods
Adaptable, curious, creative thinker with strong communication and prioritisation skills
