This is an exciting opportunity to join our Leasehold and Home Ownership Team. We are committed in providing a customer focused Leasehold and Home Ownership service, and process efficiently Right to Buy applications in line with legislation. Birmingham City Council oversees the management of over 6500 leaseholders and 60,000 Council tenants.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can take responsibility for the effective delivery of the Home Ownership Service. As a Home Ownership Assistant, you will be responsible for all aspects of Right To Buy, dealing with incoming post, correspondence and enquiries from tenants, leaseholders, partners and stakeholders. Assisting with a wide range of leasehold and RTB tasks, responding to queries relating to service charges, ground rent, arrears, invoicing, property re-sale, S20 consultation and legal notices. You will need good attention to detail and the ability to analyse, interrogate, and relay complex information.
We are looking for an organised individual who can work within a busy environment and able to work to statutory deadlines, has excellent customer service skills, and a drive to improve service delivery. The successful candidate must have strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Reporting directly to the Home Ownership Officer on the team.
Full training and support will be provided.
