Design Engineer / Graduate Design Engineer

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Our client is looking for a passionate Design Engineer or recent Graduate eager to break into the world of manufacturing? Do you have a strong foundation in SolidWorks and a creative eye for turning ideas into practical solutions.

Design Engineer Role and Responsibilities

Creating and modifying 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks
Supporting the design and development of new products and manufacturing components
Collaborating with production, R&D, and quality teams to bring designs to life
Participating in prototyping, testing, and design reviews
Maintaining detailed documentation and design files

The ideal Design Engineer will have

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related discipline
Strong skills in SolidWorks (experience with assemblies and drawings)
Enthusiasm for engineering, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
A keen eye for detail and a proactive, hands-on attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
