Development Monitoring & CIL Officer (12 months Fixed Term Contract)
Warwick District Council is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us in supporting the monitoring of development in the District and the administration of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
This role sits within the Planning Policy & Site Delivery team of the Council, responsible for matters relating to planning policy, site delivery, development monitoring and CIL.
The post holder will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with experience in a relevant role and an understanding of the development process and town planning. You will need to have excellent time management and organisational skills, experience of effectively working to deadlines and working successfully as part of a team. The role involves use of databases, spreadsheets and other IT software and therefore experience of using these will be essential.
You will need to have an eye for detail and the ability to understand, analyse and act upon information as well as having strong communication skills given the need to interact with our customers.
The post is a full-time (37 hours a week) position, on a 1-year fixed term contract.
As the Development Monitoring aspect of the role is likely to require you to visit development sites, you will need to have a full driving license and access to a vehicle for undertaking site visits.
The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick Districtasrequired including for team meetings. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. However, office and hybrid working are also available.
