Graduate / Junior Sustainability Engineer
Leicester or Birmingham UK
Salary: Up to £30,000 + performance bonus

In this role, you'll be contributing to the delivery of environmental performance modelling and sustainability assessments across multiple live projects. You'll learn to use industry-standard tools such as IES VE and Elmhurst software, and support calculations related to SAP, SBEM/BRUKL, EPCs, TM52, TM59, and climate-based daylight modelling. You'll be involved in technical report writing, data analysis, and sustainability reviews that directly influence building design and performance.

My client is looking for someone with a degree in Building Services Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. You should be genuinely interested in low-carbon design, familiar with (or eager to learn about) UK sustainability standards such as BREEAM and Part L, and ready to grow your skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Strong communication, organisation, and a willingness to learn are essential. If you're not already on the path to CIBSE or similar accreditation,they'll support you in getting there.
