SEND Teaching Assistant (year 6)
Job Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract Length: Fixed term while child remains at school
Salary: TA grade 1, point 2 + SEND allowance, £12,916.95 per annum + £814.14 SEND Allowance per annum
23 hours per week, 8.45am – 3.00pm, Monday – Thursday, 8.45am – 12.00pm Friday
St George’s CE Primary School has a vacancy for a skilled, committed individual to provide support for a pupil in year 6 with an Education, Health and Care Plan. We are looking to recruit someone who has a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs and is able to work as part of our friendly team.
The candidate would need the ability to form a safe, secure and supportive relationship with the pupil whilst showing patience, consistency and understanding to support their learning, social and communication needs. Please see the person specification for further details.
