Reception Teacher (Maternity Cover) – High Wycombe – September 2025 Start
An inclusive and nurturing primary school in High Wycombe is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a maternity cover basis from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupils' progress
* Monitor and assess children's development, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
* Support the transition of children into the Reception year and prepare them for Key Stage 1
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception setting
* A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for early childhood education
This position is a full-time maternity cover role commencing in September 2025, with a warm and welcoming team, excellent facilities, and a supportive leadership structure.
