We are a successful, caring school situated in the heart of a vibrant and diverse community. Our children benefit from an exciting curriculum rooted in their own experiences, but developed to broaden their horizons and raise their aspirations. We teach our children how to think, how to manage themselves, how to improve their relationships with others and how to learn. We want them to compete with others on an equal footing, regardless of their social or economic starting points. We refuse to let any barrier to learning hold our children back. We want the children of St John’s to be the best that they can be.
The school's vision is rooted in Christian service. God has given each one of us skills and talents to enable us to support and serve each other. Our values are woven into all areas of school life. We want all of our school community to understand how living by them enriches all areas of our lives.
