About the Opportunity

This Graduate Finance Trainee role offers a 360° view of NHS finance through rotational placements in financial and management accounts. As part of an Apprenticeship Scheme working toward a Level 7 Finance qualification, you’ll gain practical experience while receiving 20% dedicated training time. You’ll be hands-on with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and annual accounts — all while earning a fully supported professional accountancy qualification. Continued employment is linked to exam success and strong performance, making this a clear path into a long-term NHS finance career.

What We’re Looking For

Degree or equivalent qualification
Strong analytical, time management, and organisational skills
Good IT skills, including financial systems
Understanding of accounting principles
Effective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate
Willingness to work toward a professional accountancy qualification
