A dynamic and rapidly expanding distribution business is looking for an ambitious Trainee Area Sales Manager to join their brand new state-of-the-art location in Avonmouth. Their commercial training programme offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you can make an impact and build strong business relationships.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a leading super distributor of electrical products belonging to a global group of companies who employ over 1,700 people throughout the UK. With year-on-year growth, they are a well-established business with a fantastic reputation. The business is a key supplier to the UK electrical wholesale market and works with major manufacturers including Tassimo, Dyson, Morphy Richards, Bosch and Philips, to name a few.

As a Trainee Area Sales Manager, you’ll embark on a commercial training programme, offering:

Insight into various business operations
Tailored training and development opportunities
Mentorship from a motivated manager who advanced through the commercial trainee programme
Hands-on involvement in the business’s day-to-day operations
Exposure to a fast-paced B2B sales environment
Opportunities to build lasting relationships with B2B customers
Clear pathways for progression, including advancement to area sales roles and management positions

Rewards

Starting salary of £28,500

Requirements

To be successful in this Trainee Area Sales Manager role, you should be:

Educated to degree level, or someone with existing sales experience
An excellent communicator
Ambitious, driven and self-motivated
Able to build strong relationships
