About the Company

Cathay Investments Ltd is the UK head office for an international group of companies. Responsible for central services including payroll, the team is experienced in supporting apprentices and offers a friendly, collaborative environment with full-time office-based learning.

About the Opportunity

This Finance Apprenticeship offers the chance to gain real-world accounting experience while studying towards your AAT Level 3 qualification. You’ll work across core finance functions including bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, VAT returns, and month-end support. With four days in the office and one at college, you’ll develop both your technical and business skills. Successful apprentices may be offered a full-time role in the finance team after completion.

What We’re Looking For

A-level Maths (Grade B) or equivalent (desirable)
Strong communication and IT skills
Problem-solving and logical thinking
Good with numbers and detail-oriented
Team player with initiative and patience
Willing to work full-time in the office
Must achieve Level 2 English and Maths if not already held
Start date: 18 August 2025
Duration: 18 months | Salary: £14,722.50 per year
Training provider: Croydon College
