We are looking for an Anti Social Behaviour Compliance Officer to join Sandwell MBC.
You will be expected to:-
- Coordinate the triage of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) reports, ensuring cases are appropriately routed and responded to
- Oversee the ASB case review process (‘community trigger’), maintaining accurate records and delivering timely reviews
- Manage service intelligence and interrogate data to drive service improvement
- Hold a caseload of ASB cases when required, progressing them in line with council policies and procedures
- Support communications and stakeholder engagement related to ASB and Community Safety across the borough
Essential requirements for the role:-
- Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent), or relevant experience in ASB, community safety, housing, or neighbourhood management
- At least 2 years’ experience of working in ASB, community safety or a related field, including working with elected members, legal services and courts
- Experience of managing complex enquiries and authoring clear, detailed reports and communications
- Knowledge of government policy and legislation on ASB and crime, with strong awareness of public, legal, and voluntary sectors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong IT and case management abilities
