About the Opportunity
As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you'll play a vital role in developing fire safety strategies and assessing fire protection systems across a wide variety of projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience using industry-leading fire modelling software, visiting construction sites, and working with cross-disciplinary teams. Arup’s structured graduate programme offers mentorship, global collaboration, and continuous learning to support your path to chartership and beyond.
What We’re Looking For
- A predicted 2:1 or above in a relevant degree (e.g., Fire, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Interest in becoming a chartered Fire Engineer
Desirable: Experience with tools like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or programming languages such as VBA
