Gentleshaw Primary Academy has been situated on the edge of Cannock Chase since 1878. During this time, the school has been at the heart of the community. Through our ethos and community links, we aim for our children to become ambitious, successful and responsible citizens.
The academy caters for pupils aged 3 to 11, has a combined early years unit of both nursery and reception and is single form entry from year 1 to 6. There are currently 203 pupils on roll. Over 75% of pupils attend from out of catchment and the number on roll has increased dramatically in the past 4 years.
Future Generation Trust is a growing Trust of primary phase academies in Staffordshire.
FGT aims to create a strong positive culture in all of its academies in which valuable life skills will be delivered. Quality teaching, built upon a foundation of care and support will lead to high levels of attainment, achievement and confidence, self-esteem and a love of learning.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lunchtime Supervisor, to work with the existing Lunchtime Team. This role will include time in the hall (delivering meals to pupils, supporting children to eat their meals, clearing and wiping tables, putting tables and chairs away) and time on the playground supervising and engaging with our children.
The successful candidates will be well motivated, energetic and willing to work in a caring and safe environment, reflecting the school’s priority of placing pupils at the heart of all we do.
Applications should be emailed to the office manager, Nikkie Boston, via email. Please ensure all application forms are signed.
