About the Company

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), part of the Ministry of Defence, is responsible for managing one of the UK’s largest and most complex property portfolios. Supporting military capability across the UK and overseas, DIO ensures that service personnel and defence civilians have safe, functional places to live, work, and train.

About the Opportunity

This permanent Administrative Support Officer role offers early-career candidates the chance to join a dynamic, customer-focused team within the DIO. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting operations, managing building safety, coordinating logistics, and providing front-line customer service. The role comes with tailored learning and development, the potential for hybrid working, and a generous Civil Service pension contribution (28.97%). It’s ideal for someone looking to build practical office skills in a structured and mission-driven environment.

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service and communication skills
Solid IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Organisational skills and flexibility to manage varied tasks
Awareness of building safety and facilities support
A valid UK driving licence (desirable)
Willingness to train in First Aid and internal systems

Salary: £26,770 + Civil Service pension
