About the Opportunity
This 12-month off-cycle internship within the Emerging Markets Debt team offers early-career talent an immersive experience in macroeconomic analysis, political research, and investment strategy development. Interns support the team’s portfolio managers by gathering economic data, summarising daily news, joining research calls, and contributing to high-impact analytical projects. You’ll work as a valued team member, gaining real exposure to sovereign debt, currencies, equities, and derivatives across more than 100 countries—building a deep foundation in emerging market investing.
What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduate or available for a full-time 12-month internship
- Strong academic track record (transcript required)
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication
- Interest in emerging markets, economics, and political developments
- Strong analytical, numerical, and data visualisation skills
- Familiarity with Python, R, and MS Office
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Positive attitude, collaborative, and able to multitask effectively
