About the Company
The Adjutant General’s Corps (AGC) is responsible for the British Army’s vital personnel, finance, and information systems. As part of the Staff and Personnel Support (SPS) branch, AGC officers deploy with regiments worldwide, ensuring operational readiness and contributing directly to mission success.
About the Opportunity
As an HR Officer, you’ll lead a detachment of 10–20 specialist soldiers, supporting both their development and the operational effectiveness of the wider Army unit. After 44 weeks at Sandhurst and an 11-week specialist course, you’ll earn a Level 4 qualification and start leading in real operational contexts. Longer-term, you can pursue advanced qualifications in HR, Business, and Management, including CIPD and CIMA accreditation. This is a role for those seeking adventure, leadership, and the chance to make a tangible impact from the very start.
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 17 years 9 months to 29 years 11 months
- 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points at GCSE, including grade C/4 in English, Maths, and a science or foreign language
- Strong leadership potential and a desire to mentor others
- Physically fit (minimum standards apply: 76kg Mid Thigh Pull, 3.1m Medicine Ball Throw, MSFT level 8.07)
- Willing to undertake officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst
