About the Opportunity
As a Royal Marines Officer, you’ll lead highly skilled commandos across the most extreme terrains on Earth. You’ll gain world-class military, leadership, and decision-making skills through intensive training and global deployment. Starting with a salary over £34,000, you’ll earn internationally recognised qualifications, travel extensively, and take on real responsibility from day one. Promotion to Captain follows after 26 months, with potential earnings over £52,000 and a career pathway toward senior command.
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 18–25 on day one of training
- At least 72 UCAS points (e.g., 2 A-Levels or BTEC equivalent)
- 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C), including English and Maths
- UK/Irish national, or eligible Commonwealth or Dual National
- Minimum height: 145cm; minimum weight: 65kg or BMI of 23
- Pass a swimming assessment during selection
- Physically fit and mentally resilient
- Natural leadership and strong decision-making under pressure
