About the Opportunity
As a Royal Marines Commando Officer, you’ll lead elite troops across land, sea, and air operations in the world’s most challenging environments. From day one, you’ll earn over £31,000 while developing specialist skills, gaining globally recognised qualifications, and building military and strategic leadership expertise. You’ll travel the world, receive first-class training, and experience a unique blend of responsibility, camaraderie, and adventure – all while advancing toward senior command roles.
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 18–25 when beginning training
- Minimum of 72 UCAS points (e.g., two A-Levels or BTEC equivalent)
- 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C), including English and Maths
- UK/Irish national, or eligible Commonwealth or Dual National
- Minimum height: 145cm; Minimum weight: 65kg or BMI of 23
- Strong physical fitness and ability to pass a swimming assessment
- Natural leadership and decision-making skills under pressure
- Positive mindset, self-discipline, and mental resilience
