About the Opportunity
As a Royal Marines Commando, you'll undertake physically and mentally demanding training to join an exceptional team. From day one, you’ll be paid to train and build world-class military, leadership, and survival skills. You’ll have the chance to specialise in unique roles—from Mountain Leader to Assault Engineer—and travel the world. This role includes an HM Forces Level 2 Apprenticeship and access to civilian-recognised qualifications, with adventurous training, free healthcare, and seven weeks’ paid leave each year.
What We’re Looking For
- Aged 16–32 when starting training (application from 15 years 9 months)
- UK national, Commonwealth citizen, or eligible Dual National
- No formal qualifications required
- Minimum height: 145cm; Minimum weight: 65kg or BMI of 23
- Physically fit and mentally resilient
- Confident swimmer (must pass swimming assessment)
- Strong teamwork, self-discipline, and ability to stay positive under pressure
