We're Hiring: Junior Graduate Programmer

About Us Cherry Pop Games is a high-output, indie game studio behind Pool Blitz and Snooker Blitz—fast-paced, cross-platform sports games enjoyed by millions of players around the world. With several exciting new projects launching later this year, we're expanding our dev team and looking for fresh talent ready to help shape the next big hit.

The Role We're looking for a Junior Graduate Programmer with a strong foundation in game development and a passion for creating great player experiences. You'll work alongside experienced developers on both our existing titles and upcoming releases, contributing directly to gameplay systems, UI, and backend integration.

Hybrid Working We offer a flexible working environment with a hybrid setup—spend 2–3 days a week in our studio collaborating face-to-face with the team, and the rest working remotely. It’s a balance that supports both productivity and creativity.

What You'll Work On:

Supporting development and live ops for Pool Blitz and Snooker Blitz
Contributing to new, unannounced titles
Working with the UE4 Widget system to build responsive and intuitive UI
Bug fixing and live ops maintenance of backend services (BaaS) like PlayFab, Gamesparks, or brainCloud

What We're Looking For:

Experience with Unreal Engine 4 (either academic or in personal projects)
Proficiency in the UE4 Widget System and UI design principles
Exposure to at least one Backend-as-a-Service platform (PlayFab, Gamesparks, brainCloud, or similar)
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
A team player mindset and passion for games
Basic understanding of programming languages such as C#, C++, or Java.

Bonus Points For:

Experience developing cross-platform games (Mobile,Steam, Xbox, Playstation and Switch)
A portfolio showcasing previous work or game projects
Familiarity with multiplayer systems or matchmaking logic
