About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to train as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) through a fully funded apprenticeship. You’ll gain practical experience supporting people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression through cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)-based interventions, while studying part-time with Staffordshire University. You'll be supported by experienced supervisors and contribute to a nationally recognised mental health service, helping real patients from day one.

What We’re Looking For

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Level 2)
Significant paid experience working in a mental health setting
Readiness to apply to Staffordshire University’s 2025/26 PWP apprenticeship cohort
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safe, evidence-based, person-centred care
