About the Opportunity
Join the Infrastructure team as a Civil Engineering Apprentice and complete a Level 6 apprenticeship leading to a BEng (Hons) degree over five years. You'll gain practical site experience in surveying, setting out, and project monitoring while learning from industry professionals. This structured programme includes academic study through Lakes College and the National College for Nuclear, regular mentoring, and strong progression opportunities upon completion.
What We’re Looking For
- Applicants aged 18+
- A passion for construction, engineering, and technology
- Problem-solving mindset
- Relevant entry qualifications, including one of the following:
- A-levels: BBC (including Maths, ideally Physics or Chemistry)
- T-Level: Merit+ in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning
- BTEC: DDM in Engineering with Merit in Maths
- Level 3 Civil Engineering Apprenticeship: DD with EPA Pass or Distinction
- Access to Engineering: 15 Distinctions, 30 Merits (including Maths and Physical Science)
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English
- Prior work experience (desirable)
