About the Opportunity

Join Luxfer’s Research & Development team as a Scientist Degree Apprentice, working primarily in the Zirconium R&D lab with potential placements in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing. You'll contribute to cutting-edge material development while earning a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Science via a 4-year Degree Apprenticeship with Manchester Metropolitan University. Expect hands-on lab work, advanced analytical techniques, real-world data interpretation, and a supportive team committed to your growth.

What We’re Looking For

5 GCSEs (Grade C/4+), including English, Maths, and Science
Predicted 112 UCAS points (e.g. AAC A-levels or DMM BTEC), including Chemistry
A in at least one STEM A-level or Distinction in a Chemistry-related BTEC
Strong mathematical skills
Passion for chemistry, science, and innovation
Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills
