About the Opportunity

This 4-year Laboratory Scientist Degree Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to earn a BSc in Chemical Sciences while gaining real-world experience in pharmaceutical analysis. Working within the Analytical Strategy and Operations team, you'll train in a lab-based role using advanced analytical chemistry techniques to support the development of life-saving medicines. Apprentices benefit from a £23,000 salary, generous holiday, flexible hours, and full support from both BMS and academic partners.

What We’re Looking For

5 GCSEs (grade C/4 or above), including English and Maths
A Levels (104 UCAS points) including Chemistry (Grade C or above) and one additional Science or Maths
OR equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g., BTEC) with 104 UCAS points minimum
Passion for science and a desire to build a career in pharmaceutical research
Strong attention to detail, commitment to learning, and a collaborative mindset
