About the Opportunity

Join IBM in Glasgow as a Quality Engineer Apprentice on the IT: Software Development Graduate (Degree) Apprenticeship. Work four days a week with IBM's Cloud Advisory team and study one day a week at university, earning a fully funded degree while building real-world experience in software quality and testing.

As part of a cross-functional Agile team, you’ll contribute to major UK public sector projects, working with AWS, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll gain valuable skills in testing, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure, positioning you for a high-impact tech career.

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Salary: £26,000

What We’re Looking For

Must reside in Scotland and be eligible for SAAS-funded apprenticeships
Based within commuting distance of IBM Glasgow (min. 3 days on-site/week)
Willing and able to travel for client-based work
National 5 Maths & English (Grade C or above) or equivalent
Achieved/predicted four SQA Highers at Grade BBBB (ideally including Maths or Computing)
Eligible for UK Security Clearance
Authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship
Not currently enrolled in or completed a similar apprenticeship or university course
Strong interest in technology—no prior STEM study required
