About the Opportunity

As Marketing Officer, you’ll join IWM’s London-based Commercial & Marketing team on a fixed-term contract (until May 2026), earning £30,000–£32,000 per annum. You’ll lead and support integrated marketing campaigns to grow and retain audiences, particularly at Churchill War Rooms and HMS Belfast. From project managing creative development with the Design team to managing marketing, print production, and digital content updates, this is a multifaceted role ideal for someone with early marketing experience and strong creative and organisational skills.

This opportunity offers in-depth exposure to campaign planning, stakeholder engagement, brand management, and hands-on experience with budgeting and design tools—plus excellent benefits including 25+ days’ annual leave, pension contributions of up to 12%, retail discounts, and access to exclusive cultural events.

What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a marketing team
Strong understanding of the marketing mix and audience segmentation
Confidence using design software for minor artwork tasks
Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, organisation, and budgeting skills
Ability to manage website content and analyse performance data
Interest in cultural, historical, or heritage sectors
