About the Opportunity
As a Vehicle Preparation Operative, you'll join a reserve pool for vacancies at Stoke or Staffordshire Hubs, ensuring ambulances and emergency vehicles are clean, stocked, and ready for action. You'll gain exposure to critical healthcare logistics and work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The role offers 24/7 shift work, progression from Band 2 to Band 3 after four years, and ongoing training and development. What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Experience in stock taking, vehicle cleaning/valeting, or driving various vehicles
- Full (manual) UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points (must show C1 category at application)
- Willingness to work shifts including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
- Physically fit and comfortable working in varied and sometimes challenging conditions
