About the Opportunity

The Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) offers graduates the chance to train as a Police Constable while earning a Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Professional Policing. You’ll be a full-time officer from day one, gaining real-world experience on the front line, supported by in-house and university-led training. After your two-year probation, you’ll have access to further specialisms, from firearms and investigations to roads policing and drone operations. Starting salary is £29,907, rising to £48,231 after 7 years.

What We’re Looking For

Degree (Level 6+) in any subject, or final-year students (must graduate before training starts)
Resident in the UK for the past 3 years
British, Irish, EEA national or have unrestricted UK work rights
Able to pass vetting, medical, and a fitness test (bleep test level 5.4)
Committed to studying alongside full-time work over a 2-year period
