About the Opportunity

As an RAF Physical Training Instructor, you’ll lead fitness and conditioning programmes that are vital to operational readiness. From introducing new recruits to military fitness to delivering specialist training in areas like rehabilitation, parachuting, or adventure training, your role will take you across the UK and abroad. Starting at £25,200 and rising to over £35,500 after specialist training, you’ll also gain a Level 3 Personal Trainer Apprenticeship and benefit from subsidised housing, global travel, and free access to gyms and healthcare.

What We’re Looking For

Aged 18.5–47 (must attest before 48th birthday)
GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths
Pass the Defence Aptitude Assessment
Meet RAF fitness, health, nationality, and residency requirements
Commit to a minimum of 3 years after specialist training
