About the Opportunity

As a Graduate Submarines Electrical Engineer, you’ll join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and advancing electrical and electronic systems aboard the UK’s next-generation submarines. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:

Power and hardware optimisation
Design, testing, and fault diagnostics
Data analysis and lab testing for emerging technologies
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (3–4 days per week on site)
Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
Start Date: 13 April 2026
Contract: Permanent
Relocation Support: Available (subject to eligibility)

What We’re Looking For

✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (actual or predicted 2:2 minimum) in:

Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Electrically biased Marine Engineering
Electrically biased Physics

✅ UK residency for 5–10 years for security clearance

✅ Passion for solving complex engineering challenges
