Graduate Teaching Assistants – Bramhall – September Start

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll assist with classroom activities, deliver small group or one-to-one interventions, and play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning. Whether you're supporting literacy development in English, assisting students with SEND or SEMH needs, or reinforcing subject-specific content, your contribution will help shape a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Candidates with a Psychology background may focus on supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs—helping them manage emotions, engage in lessons, and build resilience. English graduates may assist in the English department, supporting reading and writing skills, preparing students for assessments, and building confidence with written and spoken communication.

Contract Length: Full academic year (with potential for a permanent role depending on performance)
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
