Graduate Teaching Assistants - Aspire People - Manchester Secondary Schools

Aspire People is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Manchester.

This is the perfect opportunity for graduates who are considering a future in teaching and want to gain valuable, hands-on experience before starting teacher training.

What We're Looking For:
Graduates with UK degrees in subjects aligned with the secondary curriculum (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages).
Strong subject knowledge in core areas (English, Maths, Science).
Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with young people.
A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
Flexibility to take on daily, short-term, and long-term cover roles.
Reliable and committed, with a positive attitude towards supporting students of all abilities.
Able to provide references covering the last two years.
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).

What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who need extra support.
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour strategies.
Gaining first-hand experience of school life, curriculum delivery, and student development.
Building skills and confidence that will support your journey into teacher training.
