Our client, a leading Tier One MEP contractor committed to responsible and inclusive construction, is seeking a Mechanical Construction Graduate to join their team on a major infrastructure project in Somerset.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent mechanical or building services engineering graduate to gain hands-on experience on one of the UK’s largest construction projects. You’ll support senior engineers and project teams in delivering mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEPH) works to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with planning, coordination, and site delivery of mechanical systems

Support installation and commissioning activities, including cold and dry room systems

Attend subcontractor and site coordination meetings

Monitor progress and assist in maintaining project schedules

Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed at all times

Work closely with senior engineers, supervisors, and client stakeholders

Contribute to project documentation, audits, and compliance tracking
What You’ll Bring

Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

Interest in large-scale construction and MEP systems

Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

Willingness to learn and develop technical and site management capabilities

Basic understanding of health and safety standards in construction

CSCS card or willingness to obtain
