About the Opportunity
Join Apple’s GPU Physical Design (PD) team as an Intern in Cambridge, starting Winter 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025. You'll gain hands-on experience in physical chip design, from floorplanning and placement to routing and automation scripting, while collaborating closely with world-class engineers. What We’re Looking For
- Studying for a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar
- Solid understanding of ASIC and digital design techniques
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., TCL, Perl)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn
- Bonus: Circuit design/layout experience, Verilog/VHDL familiarity, or Physical Design knowledge
