About the Opportunity
As a National Intelligence Analyst (Strategic), you’ll produce high-impact intelligence products on serious threats facing the UK prison and probation systems—ranging from organised crime to operational vulnerabilities. Working closely with senior analysts and partner agencies, you'll develop profiles, assessments, and recommendations that inform national decisions. Full training in intelligence techniques is provided, with opportunities for specialist accreditation and professional development. What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- Ability to synthesise and present complex data clearly
- Interest in national security, law enforcement, or justice
- Willingness to travel and work with partner agencies
- Ability to act with integrity and maintain confidentiality
- Eligibility for Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
- Advantageous: background in analysis, prisons, probation, or policing
- Desirable: experience leading or mentoring others
