Are you a Psychology graduate who wants to make a real difference in children's lives? This is a great chance to use your knowledge to support young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary schools across Wandsworth.
About the Role
Career Teachers is looking for Psychology graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). You'll support children with SEN, such as autism, ADHD, and speech or language needs. You will be helping them learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom.
What You'll Do
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEN children
- Help adapt lessons to meet individual needs
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning space
- Use different tools and techniques to engage students
- Support children's emotional and social development
About You
- A recent Psychology graduate with a passion for helping children
- Patient, caring, and able to build strong relationships
- Knowledge of SEN (like autism or ADHD)
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in schools or SEN settings is a bonus, but not required
