The Role:
Position: MFL Graduate Trainee Teacher (French and/or Spanish preferred)
Location: Redbridge
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Paid teacher training placement (based on experience and funding eligibility)
Training Route: Gain QTS while working in the classroom, supported by mentors and partner providers
Your Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of engaging language lessons to KS3-KS5 students
Work closely with expert language teachers and gradually take on teaching duties
Engage in structured training sessions and receive tailored mentorship
Help students build confidence and fluency in a second language
Play an active role in school life, both academically and through extracurricular activities
Who We're Looking For:
A degree in French, Spanish, or a related language discipline (2:1 or above preferred)
A passion for languages and cultural education
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A desire to inspire young people and make a lasting impact in education
Ideally, some experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
