About the Opportunity

Join AECOM as a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist from Summer/Autumn 2025 and work on nationally and internationally significant infrastructure projects—from the Great Grid Upgrade to Neom in Saudi Arabia. You'll gain experience in site investigations, geological interpretation, geotechnical design, and cutting-edge digital modelling. Graduates benefit from AECOM’s two-year ADVANCE programme and GEO Grounding technical academy—providing structured development, mentoring, and a pathway to Chartership.

What We’re Looking For

A 2:1 or above in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Engineering Geology
MSc/MEng in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology (required for Geology BSc grads)
Strong Microsoft Office skills (AutoCAD/Civil 3D desirable)
Interest in geotechnical projects and digital tools (e.g. Leapfrog, Openground)
Willingness to work on-site and travel when needed
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Motivation to work towards professional qualification (ICE, IOM3, or Geological Society)
