Are you organised, detail-oriented and keen to support students in achieving academic success? We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Exams Assistant to join our dedicated team at Aston University STEM Education Academy Trust (AUSEAT).
About Us
AUSEAT is made up of our Aston University Engineering Academy (13–18 Year olds) and Aston University Mathematics School (16-19 Year olds) both located on the Aston University campus, specialising in STEMM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths).
The Role
As Exams Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of both internal and external examinations. You’ll work closely with the Examinations Manager, students, staff and external partners to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and professionalism of all exam-related processes. This includes the support of the new Technical Level assessments and examinations (T-Levels), along with our BTEC, A Level and GCSE Examinations.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to unexpected situations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in an education or administration environment (desirable)
- IT literacy and confidence using data systems
- A flexible, proactive approach to supporting a busy exams department
