The Peninsula Technology Assessment Group (PenTAG) at the University of Exeter is seeking a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) or Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF) in Health Technology Assessment (Health Economics). If you're passionate about influencing high-profile healthcare decisions and driving impactful research, this is your chance to make a difference!
The Role
Within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in evaluating health technologies (medicines, medical devices, diagnostics) for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and other leading agencies. Depending on your level you will:
- PDRF:Lead cost-effectiveness evaluations, develop de novo economic models and new methods.
- SRF:As above with significant leadership, project and line management responsibilities including training and development of staff to support career progression
This is a full-time post from 1st September 2025 on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2027.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- A strong background inhealth economic modellingandcost-effectiveness analysis.
- Experience inHTAandeconomic evaluations(experience leading evaluations desirable for PDRF and essential for SRF level).
- A passion for research that directly influencespolicy and decision-making.
