The Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our Housing Advice and Allocations team.
The candidate will need to demonstrate experience of delivering customer focused services, dealing with customer enquiries and be able to communicate effectively giving housing advice to a wide range of people.
This is a busy and varied role which involves:
- Processing housing applications on our IT system and sending letters to confirm registration
- Undertaking checks on documentation from customers
- Answering email and phone enquiries from customers
- Providing housing advice to those seeking accommodation
- Assisting Allocations Officers in the allocation and letting of social housing
- Providing advice and assistance to customers approaching as homeless.
This role involves both working from the office and home working. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate.
