About the Opportunity

This 18-month, paid Dental Nurse Apprenticeship offers you the chance to train on the job while studying towards a Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship qualification. Based in a real clinical setting, you’ll gain hands-on experience under the supervision of qualified dental nurses and tutors. The role includes chairside assistance, patient preparation, equipment testing, and decontamination duties. You’ll build valuable skills in patient care, communication, and teamwork—setting a strong foundation for a long-term NHS career. Apprentices start on the national apprenticeship wage, with progression in pay after 12 months.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 4 GCSEs (grades C/4 or above), including English and Maths
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organised, and eager to learn
Able to work as part of a team and take initiative
Willingness to undertake relevant training and travel between sites
Confidence in a patient-facing role is desirable
Science-based GCSE and care or customer service experience are a plus
